1. What Are Cookies and Browser Storage?
Cookies are small values that a website or service may ask a browser to store and send with later requests. sessionStorage is a separate browser feature that stores data for one tab’s browsing session and does not automatically accompany network requests. Security services may also use short-lived browser tokens and technical signals without those values being marketing cookies.
2. Technologies Used
The following inventory is based on the current source code. It should be re-audited before adding scripts, embeds, analytics, advertising or consent tooling.

3. Calculator sessionStorage
The two calculator keys temporarily hold the selected route, vessel, options, estimate, creation time and reference needed to show a result in the Contact form. They do not contain Contact-form personal details such as your name, email, phone or message.
The application rejects records older than 24 hours, even if a browser happens to retain them. The browser normally removes session storage when the relevant tab or session ends. You can remove a transferred estimate in the Contact form without sending it.
The Contact page also checks for the compatibility keyays:contact-prefill. If already present, it may contain service, vessel, date, message, source and calculator-summary values used to prefill bounded form fields. The current source does not create this key. It removes malformed data and removes the key after a successful submission; otherwise the browser session controls its lifetime.
4. Turnstile
Cloudflare Turnstile runs browser checks and creates a token that the server validates before accepting a Contact submission. The repository uses implicit rendering with the contact action and light theme. It does not explicitly select invisible or non-interactive mode, and it does not configure pre-clearance in source code.
Widget type and account-level pre-clearance settings are controlled in Cloudflare and must be confirmed there before production. This inventory therefore does not list cf_clearance as definitely used and does not invent provider cookie names. See Cloudflare’sTurnstile Privacy Addendum (external link).
5. Analytics and Marketing
The website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. The current source also contains no marketing tags or social-media embeds. Images are served locally, and fonts use the visitor’s installed system fonts.
If analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before activation.
6. Managing Browser Storage
Browser settings generally allow you to inspect or clear cookies and site data. Closing the relevant tab or browser session normally clearssessionStorage. Blocking strictly necessary storage or security features may prevent calculator transfer or Contact-form submission. Consult the current help documentation for your browser or device for exact controls.
7. Changes
This policy and its review date will be updated before a new storage, analytics, advertising, embed or consent technology is activated, and whenever the current technical inventory changes materially.
